Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of VanillaScoop ("the extension," "we," "us"), a Chrome extension and license-key service operated by Covered by Greco LLC. By installing, activating, or paying for VanillaScoop, you agree to these terms.

1. What VanillaScoop is

VanillaScoop is a Chrome browser extension that helps insurance agents extract lead data from Vanillasoft and push it to Textdrip and Ringy. The extension runs entirely on your local machine. The Pro tier ($9.99/month) adds property-value lookup, ACA tier classification, dial tracking, and analytics, gated by a server-issued license key.

2. Subscription & billing

Free trial: 7 days, no credit card required. You receive a trial license key by email.
Pro plan: $39/mo (Standard), $9.99/mo or $19.99/mo (Founder tiers, limited seats), or $390/yr (Annual) — billed through Lemonsqueezy (our merchant of record). Current pricing always shown at vanillascoop.org/#pricing.
Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
Cancellation: cancel any time via your Lemonsqueezy account dashboard. You keep Pro access through the end of your current billing period.
Refunds: we don't offer partial refunds for unused time. If you're unhappy within your first 14 days of paid service, email support@vanillascoop.org and we'll refund the most recent charge, no questions.
Taxes: Lemonsqueezy handles US sales tax, EU VAT, and similar. Tax is included in the price you see at checkout.

3. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use VanillaScoop to:

Violate TCPA, GDPR, CCPA, or any other applicable telemarketing or privacy law. The extension's TCPA hours warning is a helper, not a guarantee — you are responsible for compliance with calling-hour laws in your leads' jurisdictions.
Contact leads who have asked not to be contacted (Do Not Call lists, opt-outs, etc.).
Misrepresent yourself, the products you sell, or the licensing status of any insurance product.
Resell, sublicense, or share your VanillaScoop license key with others. One license = one user.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of any closed-source components, including the license server.
Use the extension to scrape data from sources other than Vanillasoft, or to submit leads to services other than Textdrip and Ringy (i.e. don't modify the extension to repurpose it).

4. License (what you're paying for)

Your Pro subscription grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the extension's Pro features on your own machines while your subscription is active. The extension itself remains the property of Covered by Greco LLC.

5. Third-party dependencies

VanillaScoop depends on Vanillasoft, Textdrip, Ringy, the US Census Bureau API, and Zillow being available. We don't control any of those services. If one of them changes or goes down, the extension may stop working until we ship an update. We commit to shipping fixes within 48 hours of being notified or detecting a break.

You're responsible for maintaining your own active accounts with Vanillasoft, Textdrip, and Ringy. Your relationships with those vendors are governed by their own terms.

6. Data handling

See our Privacy Policy for full details. In short: your lead data never leaves your computer. We don't see lead names, phone numbers, addresses, or any other PII.

7. Service availability

We aim for high uptime on the license-verification server, but make no specific SLA guarantees. The extension includes a 7-day offline grace window — if our server is unreachable for less than 7 days, your existing Pro status continues to work based on the last successful check.

8. Changes to the service

We may add, modify, or remove features over time. If we remove a feature you specifically paid for, you may cancel and receive a pro-rated refund of unused time. Material changes will be announced via email to subscribers at least 14 days in advance.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these terms (especially the acceptable use section). Termination for cause does not entitle you to a refund. You may stop using VanillaScoop at any time by cancelling your subscription and uninstalling the extension.

10. Disclaimer of warranty

VanillaScoop is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose. Use is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Covered by Greco LLC's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to VanillaScoop is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost leads, lost dials, or missed sales.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Covered by Greco LLC harmless from any claim arising out of your misuse of the extension, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right (including TCPA / DNC violations).

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms over time. Material changes will be announced via email to subscribers. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
